Oct'24: Contemporary Fiction Month

We kicked off the Open Book Club's debut chapter with some funky contemporary fiction picks! Think Notes on Heart Break, It Ends with Us, Conversations on Love, and more.

Nov'24: World War 2 Stories

Last November, we read and discussed stories from the life changing events of World War 2, fiction and non fiction.

Jan'25: Thriller January

We started the year with the Sisyphean task of clearing our To-Be-Read (TBR) list by choosing to read a thriller from it, and what a delicious variety was brought to table!

We explored the complex characters so beautifully captured in Coco Mellow's Cleopatra & Frankenstein together and debated how uniquely a relationship affects not just the people in it but also around them.

We picked our own summer reads and digged deep into some moving stories. The session was followed by a book talk with author Bhavika Govil on her debut novel, Hot Water.

Jun'25: Queer Literature

We celebrated Pride month with Queer Literature. Author Alina Gufran moderated this discussion by posing some really thought provoking questions on Queer identities and stories.

We selected our own comfort books that brought a smile to our face - romance, healing fiction, biographies, self help... the spread was wide and eclectic!

Get Lit with Our Book Club!

Members stay connected through our moderated WhatsApp group, where we chat about our current reads, exchange recommendations, and vote on the next book club pick. However, for every meet-up we open the slots for a maximum of 10 people to keep the discussion meaty and allow enough time for individual interaction as well. Join us for lively conversations, literary discoveries, and a great time with fellow book enthusiasts!
